Welcome to Rumer-Loudin, Inc. (“Rumer-Loudin,” “we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain your rights and responsibilities when using our website, our HVAC services, and any messaging programs (including SMS). By using any of those, you agree to these Terms.

If you don’t agree, please don’t use our services or messaging programs.

Rumer-Loudin is a family-owned HVAC company proudly serving the greater Ohio Valley, including Barnesville, St. Clairsville, Wheeling, Moundsville, and surrounding communities throughout eastern Ohio and northern West Virginia since 1975.

SMS Messaging Program Terms — Rumer-Loudin Updates

This section applies only if you opt in to our SMS messaging program, Rumer-Loudin Updates.

Program Description

Rumer-Loudin Updates sends text messages to people who have opted in. Messages fall into two categories:

Customer care messages: service reminders (e.g., annual inspections), appointment confirmations and updates, and customer care or follow-up messages.
Marketing messages, sent only if you separately opt in to them: special offers, discounts, and promotions.

How to Opt In

You can opt in by checking an SMS consent box on our website contact form. The boxes are optional and not pre-checked, and customer care messages and marketing messages each have their own box. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or service. By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder for the mobile number provided or have the account holder’s permission to use it.

Message frequency varies.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply to messages you send and receive. For questions about your plan (e.g., message limits), contact your wireless provider.

Cancellation Instructions

You can cancel at any time by replying “STOP” to any text message you receive from us.
After you send “STOP,” you will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will no longer receive messages from us.

To re-enroll, sign up again using the same opt-in process described above. Messages will resume once your new subscription is processed.

Carrier Liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Your participation in Rumer-Loudin Updates is governed by our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Services & Acceptable Use

Our HVAC Services

We provide heating, ventilation, air conditioning, indoor air-quality, and related services (the “Services”). These may include installations, repairs, maintenance, diagnostics, and emergency services.

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue any service, at our discretion.

Acceptable Use of Website & Services

By using our website or services, you agree not to:

Use automated tools or scrapers to access our site unless explicitly permitted

Fees, Payments & Refunds

You agree to pay all fees associated with Services we perform, as outlined in your service agreement or invoices.
Unless required by law, fees are nonrefundable once a job begins.
If you fail to pay, we may suspend or refuse future services until payment is made.
Additional costs arising from your breach of any part of these Terms (e.g., repair of damage you cause) may be billed to you.

You are legally authorized to request service at the location in question

All content on our website (text, images, logos, trademarks) is owned by or licensed to Rumer-Loudin.

Venue & Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions, your use of our website, or services provided by Rumer-Loudin, Inc. shall be resolved in the appropriate state courts located in Belmont County, Ohio, or a federal court with jurisdiction over Belmont County, Ohio, unless otherwise required by applicable law. You and Rumer-Loudin, Inc. agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve any dispute informally by contacting Rumer-Loudin, Inc. directly and allowing a reasonable opportunity to address the issue.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or protections that cannot legally be waived under applicable state or federal law.

Termination & Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access to our website, services, or messaging program at any time, without prior notice, for violation of these Terms or for any reason.
Upon termination, your rights under these Terms immediately cease (for example, your ability to receive SMS messages).
